For all NATO operations, there is a need to plan for the strategic aeromedical evacuation of wounded, injured or sick personnel. AJP-4.10.2 outlines the national responsibilities for strategic medical evacuation, but proposes the possibility of multilateral or multinational solutions or agreements. To enable nations to assess possible aeromedical capabilities, a catalogue of the national assets is required.
The aim of this project is to build a catalogue of assets and capabilities of NATO countries and possibly to develop interoperability.
