ANAAC C2 Development

The JAPCC will review current and planned structures and processes within the ANAAC in order to enhance their operations and support future growth.  The project will primarily concentrate on Air Operations (G3 Air) within the ANAAC touching upon relevant functional areas such as, but not limited to, G2, G4, G5 and G7 that support or contribute to the planned G3 Air Missions.  Recommendations for the short (end 2008), medium (2011) and long term (2016+) timeframes to help the ANAAC develop are to be provided, grouped as follows:

a. Concept of Employment (CONEMP).  The primary output of the review will be the production of a Draft CONEMP for the ANAAC.  From this core document, aspects such as: Structures, Basing, Doctrine, Missions and Tasks, Processes and Training will be covered amongst others.  Once created, Concepts of Operations, Standard Operating Procedures, and Tactics, Techniques and Procedures can be produced.

b. Structures.  In order to ensure the backbone of the ANAAC is well formed, the current and future structure and organization of the ANAAC will be considered in depth taking into account Doctrine and Training for any new C2 structure.

c. Processes.  In parallel to the structure review, the JAPCC will review all current processes within the G3 Air sphere of ANAAC operations in order to suggest improvements to in-place processes and provide processes where there are none.
