The Alliance is at a crossroads. In recent decades, NATO has extended incrementally its interests outside its traditional area of responsibility, whilst meeting the challenges of economic crisis, sustained expeditionary operations and extant capability gaps. Against this backdrop, NATO and its nations need to further articulate and strengthen their vision of the Alliance’s role in meeting the evolving challenges of the 21st Century and maintaining their ability to perform the full range of missions. Air and Space Power will inevitably play an essential part in resolving these challenges.
In contributing to this process, the JAPCC Conference 2010 will include presentations, interactive panel discussions, and informal exchange of individual views and perceptions on a broad spectrum of topic-related issues.
