The development of this doctrine is an endorsed JAPCC project for 2007.
JAPCC’s spring Air Forum was held on 22 March 07 at the new JAPCC Conference Centre. Around thirty representatives from sixteen NATO member counties and five NATO HQs participated in this event. Both the National and the NATO HQ representatives agreed that NATO Force Protection Doctrine for Air Operations is crucial for future NATO Air Expeditionary Operations and that JAPCC should take the lead in developing this doctrine.
