The JAPCC intends to hold a workshop in September 2006 with working-level experts of all relevant HQs in order to develop a compendium of effects-based Air C2 requirements for expeditionary operations such as the NATO Response Force (NRF), and provide conceptual advice to Allied Command Operations (ACO) on how to meet these substantiated joint air power requirements. The workshop will be based on preparatory work by the JAPCC Project Team and the work will be guided by the Generic Contingency Operations Plans (GCOP) developed by SHAPE. The work will encompass the direction and guidance given in the allied, joint documentation on the Minimum Military Requirements and the Minimum Deployed Footprint, including the framework for complementary Reach Back as an enabling C2 function. It is expected that the final draft of the compendium will be available by the end of 2006.
